Choosing what to wear for pictures, whether it's for a family or for professional headshots can either be a really fun task or it can feel a bit daunting and overwhelming.  I'm here to help all clients feel like choosing what to wear isn't challenging. I offer free style advice, many clients send me text images of potential outfits and I give my professional advice on what works for pictures. There are a few things you want to consider---first, your own personal style. You want to look like you. Second, you want to consider what works in photography. Contrast in colors can be great, as it can add depth to images. But too much color or contrast can be very confusing and distracting to the eye. My number one advice? Don't be too matchy-matchy! Everyone dressing the same doesn't add personality and it can wash everyone out. Patterns and layers can add personality and dimension. Pinterest is a great place to search for outfit ideas too.

Despite what you wear, remember the number one accessory is your smile. Come ready to smile, laugh, and just be you.
